Parents

My parents were visiting this weekend. They were very impressed with my computer skills in creating this blog. They also really enjoyed Lee and Grant and will have to come back to see the rest of the exhibits.

I have barely had time to do any of the 27 Things activites. I am composing this at Bruce's school waiting for the Talent Show.

change

I decided to change my look today. I was looking for more template options, but unable to find them. I have been wearing my glasses for the past 3 days, which I hate, because of an eye problem. I felt I needed some fun to lift my spirits. I would have liked a pink or purple background.

Twitter

Right after lunch I checked out the Twitter site (I am an overachiever). I love my friends and family, but I think they would drive me CRAZY if I were that tuned into their life. I mean I don't talk to my sister and friends as much as I want to...so I can kind of see the point. But, I imagine that the novelty wears off.

What I didn't know

I feel like I should be in the know about Web2.0, but somehow I missed it. I guess that I was too busy in college having real flesh in blood experiences (going to all my friends' recitals and military balls) to have virtual ones. Anyway, I found out today that creating a blog was not that hard. In the non-Web 2.0 sector, I discovered that The Society for Colonial Wars in the Commonwealth (State) of Virginia is the only one of the original 13 colonies not to have an Authority File.
